The Faculty of Pharmacy trains specialists in the specialty 226 "Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy" (full-time and part-time form of education). After the end of the term of study (5 years - full-time form of study, 5.5 years - part-time form of study), graduates are awarded the qualification of "pharmacist" with the possibility of further postgraduate training in the form of a one-year internship.
Currently, the faculty has 349 full-time and part-time students.
History of the Faculty of Pharmacy
The Faculty of Pharmacy was opened in 1999. The Dean of the Faculty was appointed Doctor of Pharmacy, Professor OO Turcan, who headed the Faculty until 2003.
The work on the organization and preparation of the departments of the Faculty of Pharmacy was carried out by Candidate of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Tkachuk (Brubaker) IO, who headed the faculty in 2003-2008.
The first departments of the Faculty of Pharmacy:
- Department of Drug Technology (Head Assoc. Prof., Candidate of Pharmacy Tkachuk (Brubaker) IO)
- Department of Organization and Economics of Pharmacy (Head Assoc. Prof., Ph.D. Kuhar OO)
- Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy (Head Prof., Doctor of Pharmacy Makovetskaya (Konovalova) O.Yu.)
The first issue of the specialty 7.12020101 "Pharmacy" took place in 2004. Since 2005, distance learning has been started. Correspondence form of education is designed primarily for those who work in the future specialty or have already received the chosen specialty educational - qualification level "junior specialist". Studying at the faculty creates prospects for their professional growth and improvement. Characteristic of today is the increase in the number of young people who want to study in several specialties at the same time, and it is distance learning that gives them such an opportunity.
Graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy after receiving a diploma of higher education have the opportunity to further study in an internship and upon receipt of a certificate to work in various positions in pharmacies, control and analytical laboratories, medical equipment stores, pharmacies, chemical and pharmaceutical companies, environmental, clinical and laboratory , forensic chemical and forensic medical institutions, treatment and prevention facilities, customs services and research institutions. Those who want to grow scientifically can enter graduate school.
Now at 4 departments subordinated to the Faculty of Pharmacy work:

- 21 candidates of sciences (including 7 associate professors and 1 senior researcher);

- 3 senior teachers.
